In Eleuthera there are not many options for boat partsI’m here on my CD27, my throttle cable snapped and i found a Johnson outboard 9ft cable in Spanish Wells, since it had the wrong connectors i jury rigged this concoction with some hose clamps and inox wire for my yanmar ysb8 inboard. Not really proud of it but it seems to work

I sailed Aeolus, my Cape Dory 27 to Brunswick, GA for a refit by the circumnavigator James Baldwin. In this video James explain then demonstrates how to use a Pacific Light wind vane to tack as a single handler.
